Whatever birth it is or whatever birth you desire, KG Hypnobirthing will give you the tools to achieve the best birth for you, allowing you to do everything to set yourself up for a wonderful birth. It is not a bunch of random techniques, but a very in-depth system that will encourage you to have the confidence to become in control of your own birth experience, and take responsibility for the birth of your baby.

What is it not: what seems to be shrouded in mystery to a lot of people, is in actual fact very simple. Many assume hypnobirthing is something other than it is. It is not trickery, nor magic, and it is certainly not martyrdom. Hypnobirthing is nothing new, in fact women have been doing it naturally for millennia, and when given the chance, it is what your birthing body and mind naturally wants to do to in order to support the birth of your baby

KG Hypnobirthing can make a substantial difference to your experience of giving birth. It allows you to gently release fear, negativity, anxiety and stress, and because of this wonderful release, it then helps you to build real inner confidence – leading to a happy confident pregnancy and an incredibly empowering and positive birth. 

KG Hypnobirthing labours can be shorter and more comfortable, helped by the release of emotional, physical and physiological tension in your body, so you are less likely to need pain relief. 

You will also recover the effects of birth more quickly, as the physical impact of birth is substantially reduced.

Practising KG Hypnobirthing in pregnancy is an opportunity to promote and strengthen the bond between you and your birthing partner, bringing you closer together to bring your baby into the world.

It will also help you build an awareness of the physical and physiological processes involved in birth itself, which gives greater understanding (and empathetic connection) towards what your partners labouring body is experiencing.

KG Hypnobirthing will also deepen the parent bond you have with your baby, as you will have played such an important and active role in their birth.

Birth is the blueprint for your baby, starting life off in the best possible way. With KG Hypnobirthing there tends to be less distress, less intervention, less drugs and medication, so your baby will be born calm and alert, giving them the chance to settle into healthy feeding and sleeping patterns. There is something really quite special about KG Hypnobirthed babies.

Due to the nature of KG Hynobirthing (particularly if this is your first experience), we prefer to keep group courses to smaller sessions, with no more than 3-4 couples learning together. This just means that the lessons are completely focused on you and your partner, allowing you to get as much practise, support and direct learning as possible.

Private sessions are also available for you and your birthing partner.

The full KG Hypnobirthing antenatal course run over a total of 12 hours.

Group courses are usually split over two weekends, running once a month at our studios here in Woodbridge.

Private courses are completely flexible around the times best suited to you. The content of the course can be personalised to suit your needs and how you would like to approach the course. Sessions can be in the comfort of your own home, or at our studio space in Woodbridge.

Refresher courses are available if you have previously completed KG Hypnobirthing before, and is something you would like to reconnect with.
